Three 'not so wise' men(/a woman) and 'Abhaya'!!!

We live in the 21st century but  we still act uncivilised!  We preach unity in diversity but in all honesty the 'diversity' we talk about is not cultural, is it? At the end of the day, we'll all be reduced to bones or a pile of ash!  It is true for every Homosapien no matter what race, colour, caste, religion, sexual orientation you are!  But we can all agree on one thing....we love "Fear!" Fear of public opinion ( Ya, they definitely are the ones taking care of us, right?) Fear of Judgement (What will people say?!) Fear of abandonment, Fear of losing power and authority, Fear of Failure and so on and so forth!

How else can you justify murdering a 19 year old in the 90's and getting away with it for 28 years?!  I could rejoice the fact that justice has been served or take a moment and ask the question "Why did it take Bloody 28 years for you to do the right thing?!" Three adults  who couldn't keep their pants on decided to take the life of a teenager because she walked in on them and they murdered her because they feared the society, losing of their power and public opinion ( Clearly there was no fear of God involved in any of this). You could teach people about deadly sins, talk about being 'pure' and tell them that praying will keep you away from the devil but you yourself was doing all the ungodly things and you are the one's preaching religion?! ( For the millionth time, let me emphasize the importance of sexual education in India! The more you keep it under the carpet, the more they turn into animals[Hang on, animals are much better than these humans! They are a flock and the last time I checked, they don't really identify themselves using Nationality, Religion or Caste!] I cannot begin to imagine the pain these morons have caused that poor  child - the amount of lacerations, abrasions, subarachnoid hemorrhage all while drowning to death!!! )

I grew up reading about Sr.Abhaya's Murder case. Every year, the newspapers had something different to say - CBI was questioning people back and forth, new developments, tampered evidence -. It's like I grew up with this case....the longest running investigation on to a murder! And in the end, one life imprisonment?! That's all?! They were so cunning, they bought people with money, influenced people of authority who - might I add, misused their position of power-,  and let's not forget Her "Holiness" who  stooped so low and underwent Hymenorrhaphy! She is the lowest of all the life forms out there!

An 18-19 year old's murder should still be classified as a First degree, premeditated murder of a teen and one count of life time of imprisonment in my opinion is not an apt punishment for that crime!  Punishment should be for everything they have done..not just the murder! Are we going to forget about  tampering with evidence, destroying  evidence, Obstruction of Justice and the list goes on! After wasting 28 years of public resources and living peacefully in the society as though nothing has happened, these wastes of x3 sperms and eggs get to go to jail now?! Death penalty is what they deserve!  What exactly are these low lives going to do in prison? Live off the tax payers money?! How is that even a punishment?! How is that even fair?!

Some might say that justice has been served. Some might argue that Abhaya's family has finally gotten the closure they longed for. My grandfather taught me that  an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. But, let me tell you grandpa, sometimes...just sometimes, fairness is "AN EYE FOR AN EYE!"

PS: At least open your hearts now! Teach the next generation to question. Teach them not to blindly believe every Tom, Dick and Harry out there! Teach them to respect people, teach them not to divide each other according to boundaries, colour, religion, caste, sexuality!

Understand that at the end of the day, whether you are the richest person on the planet or the poorest, Indian or British, Christian or Jew, speak English or Malayalam, Heterosexual or Homosexual, Fair or Dusky, you will bleed red when cut, still will have around 640 muscles, 206 bones and when you die, you will decay and will be part of the Carbon Cycle one way or the other!!!
